KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS
Kargil Vijay Diwas commemorates India's victory of "Operation Vijay" in 1999. Today, BPS indulged in a heart-to-heart conversation with MR. HUTANSH VERMA who deployed the Artist in him to serve the nation's frontline heroes, our soldiers.
Mr. Hutansh paints and delivers portraits to families of over 65 soldiers who lost their lives in the Kargil war, free of cost. He makes @PortraitofPatriots to express gratitude for a sacrifice that benefited the nation then and continues to do so till date!
He says, "you don't have to wear a uniform with stars to serve the country" but actions taken at an individual level can help serve the country in every little way.
For us, Mr. Hutansh Verma is a hero without a cape!
